WHAT
WE DO

OUR MISSION.

1. To provide developmentally appropriate, play-based early childhood education that promotes respect for people and nature.

2. To use outdoor learning to foster curiosity, compassion, empathy, cultural awareness, creative problem-solving, and environmental responsibility in young children.

3. To build community by involving parents and teachers in all aspects of program operations.

WHY CO-OPS?

Our programs for PreK and early elementary students are governed by parents and teachers. All co-op members contribute in some way to program operations. The goal is to build community, form a true collaboration between teachers and parents, empower parents as co-educators, provide teachers with the autonomy to run their own programs and keep tuition affordable. Our long-term goal is to continue building capacity for parents and teachers to start new micro schools under the Oak Leaf umbrella.
