Our programs operate autonomously as chapters under the Oak Leaf umbrella, meeting the needs of each community. As program leaders, all educators have ownership over programs.
NORTHWEST NATURE PROGRAMS
Barrington, IL
Based in Barrington, IL, Northwest Nature Programs offers drop off preschool classes, drop off elementary-aged classes and enrichment classes. Classes take place outdoors, in all seasons, with the goal of fostering a love for nature and respect for people, plants, and animals while creating the next generation of environmental stewards. ​

NORTH CENTRAL
CO-OP
Winnetka, IL
Oak Leaf Cooperative School's North Central Co-op offers the Oak Leaf Forest Preschool, a mixed-age drop-off program for 3-6-year-olds run by an experienced educator with help from parents! This program is located at Crow Island Woods in Winnetka. There is also an informal nature playgroup coordinated by a parent volunteer. ​
